We do not knowingly collect data from children. Our services are aimed at businesses.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can ask us to explain our reasoning, and you can object (see “Your rights” below). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with organisations that help us run our business, and only as far as needed:

  • Our website host and email provider, who store the site and deliver enquiry emails (including our email-sending tool, WP Mail SMTP).
  • Google, which provides services embedded in our site: Google Analytics (analytics), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection), Google Maps (location maps) and Google Fonts. These services may receive your IP address and related technical data.
  • Wordfence, our website security provider, which processes IP addresses and request data to protect the site.
  • Professional advisers such as our accountants and, where necessary, legal advisers.
  • Authorities or regulators, where we are required to share information by law.

These providers act as our processors and may only use your data on our instructions, except where they are independent controllers for their own services (such as Google).

Sending data outside the UK

Some of our providers, including Google, are based in or process data in the United States and other countries. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses. When we no longer need your data, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction of how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
  • Portability, to receive certain data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@jetspace.work. We will respond within one month. This can be extended by up to two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you. Exercising your rights is free in most cases.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to us directly. Please contact daryl@jetspace.work. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it without undue delay, keep you informed of progress, and tell you the outcome.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
